What: Hosted by the Friends of Green Cay Nature Center, Inc., the 11th Annual Migration Celebration is an event for all ages with a purpose of educating the public, encouraging an appreciation for nature and fostering a respect for wildlife. 2018 marks the centennial of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and in honor of this milestone, the event theme for this year is “Year of the Bird.” Celebrate with fun-filled activities including:
• Discover the Exploratory and take part in hands-on laboratory activities with select education partners
• Check out numerous environmental education exhibitors
• Create a kid’s craft and participate in a “secret question” challenge
• Meet some live animals in Green Cay’s animal room
