Learn basic fishing techniques and safety while fishing for the big one! Proper outdoor clothing, water, sunblock and sunglasses are recommended. Fishing gear is provided.

Join USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff to hone your archery skills! This program is offered to archers who have attended 2 basic archery courses at Riverbend Park. Archers will shoot at different targets and different distances. Basic safety review will be conducted before heading to the range. Equipment is provided. FULL MOON BIKE RIDE

Join a naturalist on a moonlit, nighttime bike ride. See the park after hours and look at nature from the point of view of its nocturnal residents. Appropriate safety gear and water is required. Bring your own bike or rent from the park vendor, Jupiter Outdoor Center, 561-747-0063.
BIRDING BASICS

Come join us for a guided birding walk in the park as we learn about the amazing adaptations of birds and the many roles they play in the environment. Participants will be provided with bird guidebooks and binoculars as we go over how to use them to your greatest advantage. All equipment will be issued to each participant prior to the walk.
ORIENTEERING

Lost in the park? This program will cover the basic parts, terms and usage of a compass so one can take a bearing and walk a course. Good walking shoes are recommended.
