At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on May 7, 2024, Commissioner Bernard presented a proclamation recognizing June 1, 2024, as the 75th Charter Day Anniversary of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Delta Epsilon Zeta Chapter, in Palm Beach County. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. was founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University with the principles of scholarship, service, sisterhood and finer womanhood. It was chartered in West Palm Beach on June 1, 1949, as the Delta Epsilon Zeta (DEZ) chapter and is dedicated to being a community-conscious, action-oriented organization. Palm Beach County recognizes the contributions that Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Delta Epsilon Zeta chapter has made in our community and honors this organization on its 75th charter anniversary.
