  • Free Trolley Service Connects Tri-Rail Passengers with Downtown WPB
    A new free trolley is getting Tri-Rail riders to many of downtown West Palm Beach's busiest employment centers.
  • Want Free Tax Help? Think VITA
    The United Way of Palm Beach County and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) have announced the return of free income-tax preparation service available through the United Way's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. The free service is available at 13 VITA locations throughout Palm Beach County for individuals and families with annual household incomes of $50,000 or less.
  • Friends of the Palm Beach County Library System Present Fourth Annual Writers LIVE!
    The Writers LIVE! series brings the community together with authors and their books. Our fourth annual event boasts an exciting lineup of best-selling authors who will discuss their latest works, chat with you, and sign books.
  • Try Air-Layering to Clone Your Fruit Trees
    You can duplicate your best tropical fruit trees this spring by air-layering. Air-layering produces a new plant that is identical to the parent plant in terms of fruit taste, color and size.
  • County Law Enforcement Agencies to Partner with FWC on Operation Mermaid
    The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO), along with other state and local law enforcement agencies, will patrol county waterways on February 19 as part of Operation Mermaid, a large-scale effort to remind boaters to slow down for migrating manatees.

    Our adoption specialists will help match your lifestyle and needs with the dog or cat that suits you best. All animals are adopted to qualified applicants on a first-come-first-serve basis.
