The Electronic Data Information Source (EDIS) of the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UFIFAS) is a collection of books, articles, reports and general information on profitable and sustainable agriculture, our environment and natural resources, 4-H and other youth programs, Florida-friendly landscapes, and economic well-being and life quality for individuals and families.
The research mission of UFIFAS is to discover new scientific knowledge, encourage innovative study, and create applications based on sound science. EDIS is an important tool in delivering solutions to the challenges facing agriculture, natural resources and life sciences in the state.
Each year, visitors to the EDIS website access more than 7,500 publication titles more than 25 million times. A streamlined publication process, universal Web access, and print-as-needed services expand the impact of UF/IFAS publications. For more information, please visit http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/
You can stop by the IFAS Palm Beach County Cooperative Extension Service, 531 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach to pick up popular IFAS publications or you can bring in a plant problem sample to be diagnosed by a Master Gardener volunteer.
