ABOUT US
The Palm Beach County Special Events Section of Palm Beach County's Park and Recreation Department was created to assist users in obtaining the necessary permits to hold a Special Event in one of our many County Parks. Event staff are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and guide you through the process from start to finish in hopes that you find the experience pleasurable and your event successful.

DEFINITION OF A SPECIAL EVENT
Your event qualifies as a special event if you, or your organization, are planning an activity which involves one, or more, of the following:
a.) Fundraising
b.) Advertising as open to the public
c.) Admission fee, ticket exchange or donation​
d.) Alcohol Sales
e.) Sale of food, merchandise or other items
f.) Band, amplifiers, DJ or PA system in non-designated areas​
g.) Attendance exceeding the capacity of the reserved area

If you have any questions regarding your event, one of our Special Events Specialists is available to assist you between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except Holidays.
